Porting your existing number to us

We understand that business numbers can’t be easily changed due to signwriting, business cards and online listing companies etc, which is why when you move to vivi you can bring your existing number to us.

What does a number port involve?

Just like when moving from one mobile provider to the next, your telephone number can move with you. All major UK communication providers have porting agreements with each other to make the porting process as seamless as possible. When you instruct vivi to port a telephone number, we handle the complete process and will keep you updated every step of the way.

How long does it take to port a telephone number?

Depending on several factors, porting can take a variable amount of time, but typically it takes around 5-10 working days. 

What types of numbers can be ported?

We should be able to port in any UK landline telephone number, as long as porting agreements for that provider exist.  We can port any single analogue line to us, if your line is identified as a multiline or ISDN we will speak to you about any charges that would be incurred.
